How to Style: Vintage Band Tees 3 Completely Different Ways

Learn the best tips and tricks on how to style vintage band tees 3 completely different ways and still look chic!

Time and time again, my one staple clothing piece that (literally) gets me through every season is my graphic tees. Whether it be my Rolling Stones vintage band tees, past Taylor Swift concert tees, or cute/funny graphic tees, needless to say, they get me through the seasons. They are great to style so many different ways where you can still stay comfy, without looking like you’re in your pajamas (let’s be real lol).

Summer is about over, and the queen herself, Taylor Swift was right. August slipped away into a moment of time and before you know it we’ll go back to December. Anyone else obsessed over her new surprise album drop!?

Since we are now transitioning over into Fall, I thought this would be the perfect time to show how to style graphic band tees 3 completely different ways. Between the weird awkward phases of the weather deciding if it’s summer or fall. Especially if you are from Salt Lake City, Utah it went from summer to winter within a day. But don’t worry we are back in summer temps. These outfits can be perfect for those awkward in-between temps.

Lately, I have really been obsessing over The Rolling Stones graphic t-shirts you can buy pretty much EVERYWHERE. I shared a few posts ago cute options to match with your mini in The Rolling Stones Leopard Vintage Lips Tees for the company I work for, Sparkle in Pink. If you missed it be sure to check it out on my blog post: How To Be a Part-time Fashion Blogger & Secure Your Dream Job.

Let’s get started with how to style and really dress up a vintage band tee! Let me fill you in on a little secret, GONE are the days honey, where wearing a sequin skirt is only for formal events or a holiday party. Whether, that skirt be mini, midi, or even a maxi, it’s super easy to dress them up or down.

Swap out your sneakers for some chic white booties. Add that comfy Rolling Stones vintage band tee and pair with a sequin skirt. Some simple jewelry to spice it up but not be overbearing with the sequin skirt. And what outfit is not complete without a hat!? Perfect for a Saturday brunch with the girls or your next concert festival.

This next outfit is for your everyday casual attire. Wear this outfit on your next date night, or to a day out in town exploring your favorite shops. What simple graphic tee doesn’t go with a good pair of denim? Especially if that denim is a jegging. I’m wearing the Fit & Wisdom jeans that I picked up from the Nordstrom anniversary sale last year. With a baggier graphic vintage band tee and jeans that are part legging, I really am in the comfort zone. I paired with some black Sam Edleman knee-high boots that I picked up from the nsale this year. You can see all my favorite finds from the sale in my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Blog Post. And lastly paired with my staple double g Gucci belt, and once again my go-to wide brim fedora hat.

I saved the comfiest for last! Because let’s be real that’s the most important! I don’t know about you, but most days all I want to wear is a roomy vintage band tee with some leggings or biker shorts and call it a day. Especially if it’s your time of the month, who wants to be wearing skin-tight anything!? We are just trying to survive the next few days ladies, am I right?

Biker shorts are fabulous for so much more than well biking let’s be honest haha. Pair some black biker shorts with a cute vintage band graphic tee for all the sporty and cute vibes! Plus, you can style your graphic t-shirt tied in a knot for a more fitted look, or even partially tucked in. Throw some cute comfy Nike sneakers or any pair you have for that matter for maximum comfort. And since we are on a comfort kit with this outfit… mine as well put that hair in a top knot or ponytail! Have 3rd-day hair or even in my case 5th? Throw on your favorite casual baseball cap and call it a day girl!

Well ladies, there you have it, my way on how to style your vintage band tees in 3 completely different ways. Let me know in the comments down below what you think and which look is your favorite! I hope you can find fun ways to style all those vintage graphic tees that are already in your closet! But if necessary I understand if you need to hop on the Rolling Stones vintage band tees trend and buy yourself your new favorite vintage band tee!
